Mission Statement

The 1981 technology underlying today's Internet, called Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) is at End of Life. The public 32 bit addresses used by IPv4 are nearly depleted. A next generation replacement, called Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), which has 128 bit addresses, was first defined by the IETF in 1995. IPv6 is now being deployed by ISPs and content providers around the world. Our mission is to provide information, training, consulting and products that will help people to learn and deploy IPv6, as well as creating new products that will leverage IPv6's amazing new capabilities.
